Visited Bluecoat at Rotherham, ye olde Wetherspoon establishment, and sampled Hart's Squirrel's Hoard, Acorn Barnsley Glory ( wonder how that got its name? ), a nutty porter and a very dark beer with Tokyo in its name, especially brewed for their beer festival.

All quite palatable but I wouldn't particularly rush to have another one of any of them.

Yo-Ho Tokyo Black is the one I believe that you are referring to. Brewed at Marstons (by Yo-Ho Brewing Company) for the festival as you rightly point out.

I concur, very enjoyable.

Visiting The Hub tonight - CAMRA beer festival. Anyone else going?

I went along. Good job you didn't go last night, there was no power at the Hub so it was didn't open as planned. However from the numbers that were there tonight, I'm sure it made up for it.

Where is the Hub? Is it an old boozer renamed?
