Our line defence this year is probably the best i've ever seen it.

I can only support what others have already said, a fantastic performance in very difficult circumstances (illness, injuries, continual position changes etc).

The effort, enthusiasm and team spirit was outstanding, the first 40 minutes being near-perfect and the second 40 being a true test of character which was passed with flying colours.

Gutted for Aaron Dobek although speaking to Tony Miller yesterday evening he indicated that the injury may not be as bad as initially though (he was still waiting for news on Mick Butterfield at that stage).

The downside for me was an attendance of only 493 ... performances like that deserved to be witnessed by many more of the public of Doncaster.

To the players and coaching staff
(the ale tasted particularly good last night  )

Stanky reckons he has got the best centre pairing in the league in Damien Reid and Wayne McHugh.
McHugh got a load of tries for Hunslet against us.
Don't let him past because you won't catch him ... he's faaaaaaaast.

Outstanding in every department!
I think a big well done needs to go out to Tony Miller. Last season he took a lot of stick from certain quarters, but i think with a full pre season behind him and a more settled team (assembled on a limited budget) he is showing what he can do.
Well done to everyone at the club!
We just need a few more clicks on the turnstile....

We were superb yesterday. Defence was top drawer and I thought our lads kept their heads well discipline wise as Dirty Worky tried everything to upset them. Also a great try from Kez which no one else has mentioned , it was a great solo effort!!

Well done lads keep it up!
Just hope we get some bodies back for next week.

Come On You Dons !!!!

Hope he's right about the injuries not being too serious.

very good article. and oops the time keeping gets a mention. but yeh we cocked up mega style sunday. a shout was made that we were 4 out, we thought 4 minutes short so we moved it on 4 minutes, wrong way.

comments have been made to have the clock turned off. what do fans feel, do they like the time on or not. i realise we cant repeat the mistake. i think that maybe we should stop rewinding it if were told its wrong, just keep it running, and at 40, just wipe the time all together, with a message, this isnt the official timekeeping clock.
