I had to chuckle at Aston's remarks in the League Express.
''I've been after Green for 10 years now...and I have finally got him''.
Green has signed untill the end of the season depite being offered a two year deal.
Well done Mark.....evidence that Greeny couldn't wait and is commited to stay at the Eagles.

Would be some comfort to think that he could come back.

Slight change of tack. They said on Sky now that Pete had gone that China was our longest serving player is that right ? How long have Craig and Shaun been here ?

You need to talk to a Stato like Jemmo or Geoff.

He actually said Colton is now the longest serving player at Doncaster-except he had a season at Featherstone!
Where do Sky find these planks from?

Craig Lawton is now longest servant, made his debut away at Barrow a fair few years ago (same game as Johnny Woodcock IIRC), and Shaun Leaf joined the following season. Dean Colton was in the academy at that point, and I think he made his first appearance away at Sheffield a few weeks into the following season.

I remember him (Colton) wearing a scrum cap away at Sheffield like Johnny Woodcock used to do......he was like a slighter version.

I always thought that seagulls fans were mad, but to hear that half of them actually booed at Pete is astounding !
