Gutted! Had chances to snatch it, even in the last seconds. Just didn't take the chances we had. Potts and Morrison were out standing together but didn't get enough ball

Been watching the score updates online and feared the worst at 20 odd 12 down but proud of the lads for the fightback and a bonus point!

What a bummer ... just like the first game we caught them up but came up short.
Beaten by a total of 6 points in two games ... they get 6 points we get 2. :(

But as I always say ... winners win, losers lose.

Did Coady ACTUALLY play over Sanderson???
Did he do anything if he did play??
I think it's important if we ended up one try off victory.
I'm not a happy bunny if he got into the side.

Still I had written this one off weeks ago, along with the Keighley game, but the lads obviously did marvellously to get a bonus point and to have had a chance of a draw or win.

It's a good sign for the play-offs, but we can forget the nonsense of automatic promotion now.

Keighley have a very difficult run-in, we have to refocus and realise we can still finish second.
We also have to beat South Wales which won't be easy, but we could beat Keighley with the right side out.

I've just looked at that squad again.
Did Bovill actually play and did Kesik actually play at scrum-half again?
I will assume it was an availability problem shall I?
Or as someone lost the plot?

PS If Ian Watson was actually the difference between the two sides, given the fact that we have highlighted we are lacking in this area, then that is also a bummer.

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Thank God I'm an atheist.

Just rtead all your comments and I would like to say unlucky to Doncaster your team played really well and gave us a good game.
However none of you have mentioned the fact that in both games a certain Mr laughton officiated and gave the two worst displays of refereeing I have seen in years. Now this isn't sour grapes as of course we won but even the most biased Donny fan must agree that he kept you firmly cammped out on Swinton's line, It was only virtue of the fact we stood resolute that you didn't get over and win it.
Best of luck in your remaining games and playing like you did you will win the playoff final.

A good game, but too many easy penalties and missed tackles in the first half and when will we realise that we can spend weeks in another team 'twenty' and not look like scoring. Could it be worthwhile occasionally going for a penalty, getting the ball back and keeping the scoreboard rolling over (mind you it helps if you have a kicking tee).

Anyway great effort from the lads & may be next time turn the style on five minutes earlier.

3 pens 3 try,s for swinton in first forty, 2nd 40 we was comped in there 20 for long periods, spaven missed kick to earn a draw biggest cheer of night from swinton fans when it sailed just wide, how mean petty and not in the spirit of the game when they refused to let us use there tee,i would loved to have beaten them for that alone.but very entertaining game none the less

You didnt deserve to be any where close to equalising, you were smashed up by our defensive effort. Six sets consecutively and then five sets consecutively=no tries? Gifted two tries from knock ons on our own line, and totally reliant on Kesik for any form of attack. Come on Donny you were well beaten and the scoreline in no way reflects the game, just Mr Laughtons incompetence.
Oh and you forgot your tee? Its like forgetting to put on your undies! Dont blame us for that unprofessionalism.
