Got told afterwards that Butterfield was also taken to hospital. he suffered some sort of burst blood vessel in his knee, and his knee had ballooned out. I cant remember the word i was told, i had never heard of it before, but it does not sound good at all

Proud to be a Dons fan tonight, team played with so must passion and no lack of ability.
The forwards were tireless, especially Scott and Carbutt.
Carbutt's enthusiasm was superb

Credit goes to Tony and his staff

Haematoma. Basically an extreme version of a dead leg. I must admit, it looked like he'd strained his knee when I first saw it, it could be a very nasty injury.

Although looking briefly at the Workington forum it's only cause they played badly that we won, which takes the percentage of games we've ever won only because of an under performing opposition to 100%. were the luckiest team in history obviously!

I don't think for one minute that the Town fans are saying that Jemmo. Yes they are saying that our team played poorly and that your lads showed more enthusiasm than ours but no-one has said that you did not deserve to win. We did pinch a bonus point from you and we'll take that but please don't try to give the impression that we are saying you only won because we were poor, that's a bit of a cheap jibe, not your normal style. We are sorry that we couldn't have been more competitive like we were last week against Oldham but best of luck to Donny and we have to play you another twice yet this season.

Its a shame because people missed the most determined Dons performance in years

Well its nice to see a lot more people posting on here than is normally the case.
That's a reflection of how well the Dons are doing.

The Dons deserve a proper turn-out against Rochdale.
We are in the position that people have said in the past they would turn out for, with a competitive top of the league side. So where are these people???

What a performance by Swinton at Oldham?
Under no circumstances could I see the Dons going there and doing that.
So perhaps we are not the best side in this division, but we are not far off are we??? :thumb:

getting vibes from reading various comments on social media sites, that a lot of the stayaways (who were long term regulars through previous ups and downs) are really taking note of the dons results, and getting tempted to come back. lets hope the injuries dont make us suffer, and that if we can get a good crowd which our current league position deserves, then we put on a fantastic show for them and show them what they are missing. i work with two oldham die hards, so theyre in for some stick tomorrow. especially when they told me how good worky were, and that they would murder us today. what do u think i should say to them tomorrow (although i did think that was two fantastic teams out there today)

and Stand-Offish i think all the fans who stayed (when we have to admit i think the most die hard fans felt like calling it a day at times) are getting there deserves now too. how good does it feel to know you didnt desert your beloved Dons. a good reminder that throughout the hard times, there is always a good time around the corner. makes u proud
