What a great night , well done to everyone who organised the event. Over 50 fans/ supporters attended plus the players, staff & coaching staff. Doc Coleman & Stuart Piper were excellent . Ray Green excelled as MC & John Scarrow started the show off with a rousing speach.



A great venue , the food was good and bar prices reasonable .



Jemmo won a raffle prize .

I am glad it was a success. If I had a friend in the world I would have been there. But I haven't.

Thought the entire atmosphere within the squad seemed a lot better than it has done in the past, lots of smiles on faces and lots of laughing and joking. Paul Cooke seemed eager to get going, and Craig Robinson was more than ready for the season to start.

All speakers did a really good job. They players made a favourable impression on everyone.



Ray Green made us laugh when he interviewed Tom Hodson. He said something like, "Welcome to the club, son. You've made a good impression with the fans in the pre-season games scoring some good tries. (slight pause) We're just a bit worried that you seem to lack half a yard of pace though!"

That's what is needed.

Ray made me laugh at Rochdale when Rochdale knocked us out of the play-offs.

Ray did a speech and finished by saying to the Rochdale crew ...''Congratulations, see you next season.''

It creased me.

I think it was an accident though.
