If he was that good he would go to the NRL to prove himself instead of staying in the SL.

He's the best we've got---- and there's not many better if any in Aussie Land.

i for 1 dont want to lose more talent to nrl the aussie game is about strong defence and not always about attacking flare which is why i prefer the sl but its my opinion, i would never boo a player in an england shirt i rate him as the best talent weve produced for awhile so get behind the lad

I am glad that Tomkins is wearing an England shirt, great skill, great balance and for a small lad takes some hits.

Rugbyman has retired. Welcome to Another Penalty

What a stupid attitude!! We should be wanting to retain our best talent here to raise the standard of our own league structure. That was how in golf the European tour overtook the US tour.

Sam's a class act and will get even better over the next few years.

How people can slag him off but say nothing about someone like Isaac Luke who deliberately tried to maim an opponent last week is beyond me.He is the sort of player who should be copping the flak.

If we can keep our discipline and Sinfields kicking game is on top form then we will win on Saturday night.I thought in the first game they only threatened us when we gave them field position because of sloppy penalties.I cant remember many England v Aus games where we bust there line so many times.

Come on England!!

Come On You Dons !!!!

Very good point about the penalty count. England must keep it to a minimum and give them nothing cos they are always capable of making teams pay for errors. Hope it's a good one and we can give em a good game, but we've been here time after time with the Aussies when ever we expect England have turned a corner. Guess I'm more hopeful this time but would not be suprised if they gave it to us once again (score wise)

Someone needs to have a word with Ben Westwood then.
He's usually good for at least three penalties a game.

The Aussies will turn us over sure as eggs is eggs, or perhaps more accurately we will find a way to lose .... again!

Me saying that is our best chance of winning.

It is a good job that the NRL is defenced focussed coz just imagine what they would have done to us if they were any good in attack!!!

Same old - we just are not as good and no shame in admitting it...

Notice how they don't take off their scrumhalf at any point....was Burrow not available? as Chase brings nothing more to the table than Rob.

Tried to get tickets and not too sad that couldn't...

After a great career not sure that a missed conversion as last touch of ball versus a try was in hindsight the best call... the guy is class and could easily play for a couple more years...

Always next time..

There's no I in team......but there is a me!

Same old story. We just don't cope with expectation, said it for years that we take a step forward and then the Australians take several steps more. They are and always will be to quick for us when it matters. Hats off of to the them they are a wonderful advert for RL.
