One of my best memories of the Dons was on October 26th 1963 at Headingley when the Dons defeated a star studded Leeds team by 22pts to 11pts Dons winger Brian Tasker scored four tries equalling the Dons tries in a match record set by Vernon Grace against Rochdale Hornets on October 4th 1952. John Buckton again equalled this record by scoring four tries also against Rochdale Hornets on August 30th 1981.
Carl Hall broke this long standing record by scoring five tries against Hull amateurs Mysons on October 31st 1993

I have a few memories.

The last ever game at Tattersfield. Mark Roach in tears.

The door into the bar under the stand at Tattersfield - the result of a thrown bottle.

Graham Idle's Training Session - running around the pitch - that was it.

Travelling all the way up to Carlisle, only for the game to be called off when we got there. Then sitting and watching a match on BAE (Can anyone else remember them), with both sets of players before setting off home.

Parky going into the crowd to stop a fight.

Beating Hull KR Iin 1986.

Tony Kemp playing for us as a 16 year old. I still think he is the best player to ever have played for use, closely followed by Ian French.

I'm sure I'll come up with more.

Dons drawing 4-4 with St,Helens in R L Cupin 1970 Robbed by ref Lawrenson giving a Dons player offside a long way from where play was taking place.

Bernard Asquith walking before ref sent him off after landing a punch that broke a Batley players jaw.

The linesman getting knocked over twice trying to stop Kevin Iro and Gary Mercer dragging John Ellis into touch after Ellis had earlier nearly took Iros head off accidently.

Andy Clarke taking out Les Holiday (and getting sent off) in the first feww minutes of that game against Dewsbury in the play offs was a master stroke, as everything Dewsbury had planned hinged on Holiday. It won us the game.

Oh if only we had a plyer like Holiliday in our side now...

My earliest memory was Jamie Bloem's Hattrick against Cas at Tattersfield in the Big League, but my most recent memories are the Comeback at home to gain a draw against Whitehaven when we were 20 points behind with 15 minutes left and the NL2 Grand Final at Warrington in 2008
