Massive to all the guys who wore the shirt today, they wore it with pride and passion. Shame about giving them the bonus, but we cannot have everything.
Well done to the travelling fans who made the long journey to Doncaster, and hope you have a safe journey home.
The lads played really well today: the defence was awesome. And considering the amount of lads who were injured that has got to be performance of the season. China and Leafy both played thru the pain barrier and I think Nev Morrison came back on with stitches in his head.
Anybody know how many lads went off with injuries and whether they came back on again?
Dobek - Injured Spavin - Injured Butterfield - Injured, Did he come back? Morrison - Injured, Back on Leafy - Injured, Back on China - Injured, Back on
Any more? I think we know Dobek might be long term but hopefully the others will be OK.
I thought Worky got off lucky. If we didn't suffer those injuries and kept a more settled side I think we might've scored fifty! They certainly were not worth a bonus point, thats for sure.
Discipline appeared to be poor again or was the ref a bit whistle happy?
Less said about the ref the better I think!
All in all an entertaining afternoon. Well done to all the lads in what must have been a difficult game to play in.
Looks like Swinton are the team to look out for this season.

Although looking briefly at the Workington forum it's only cause they played badly that we won, which takes the percentage of games we've ever won only because of an under performing opposition to 100%. were the luckiest team in history obviously!
The meaning of your post is not lost on me, Jemmo, but to be fair they were pants! Had we been at full strength and not suffered such a rate of attrition we would have put a load past them.
My first game of the season due to other commitments but could not have picked a better match to watch. Only a couple of missed tackles in the whole match showed the defence was brilliant considering the size of the Cumbrian pack who clearly were told to rough up the young Dons. I think the scoreline was generous to Worky and like has been said if the Dons had not lost the players who were injured they would have scored a few more but I was happy with result. Not sure about the crowd given out as 400 plus though.

Someone said that Dobek had broken a leg. Given that he walked off ... I would bet against that!
Yes we were battered today, but there are injuries and there are knocks. We will see what the state is coming up to the Rochdale match ... I will be surprised if we are decimated.
I thought we were great today, given the injuries and given that the only points Workington scored were on the back of penalties or knock-ons.
We need to address penalties and indiscipline, it is an ongoing theme. If the Dons cut down penalties to say three or four a game ... they will take some beating. So please Miller sort it.
