No reason why we shouldn't although it is fair to say that they (Workington) made Hunslet work extremely hard for the win on Thursday.

Well after a £60 hotel and £60 petrol traveling to South Wales and the entrance fee and not forgetting 8 hours driving, the first part of the weekend was good, but the weekend finished off disappointing. First of all it was nice to see the Dons fans down there supporting the team, what a shame that the team did not perform as we know they can
Ball retention was poor and we also lost a lot of ground by giving away stupid penalties, at half time South Wales were there for the taking with nothing between the teams on the score board, but it was not to be as we gave away penalty after penalty for foul play in the second half and as they say the rest is history.

Interesting that Leafy played at full back.

The discipline today was poor. We had a whistle happy ref who from minute one made his intentions clear. So what did we do, keep on grapple tackling and putting in the high shots just to be penalised. God knows what the penalty count was. The ref was the same for both sides to be fair but we should have wised up sooner.

Also the ball retention was poor. Constant dropped balls.I dont know what the completion rate was but it will be low.Very low.

Scorpions were there for the taking today and we didnt show up unfortunatley. Its 3 points dropped today and we arent helping ourselves. Danny water carrying again when we want him out on the pitch.Does anybody know whats going on?

Sorry to hear that Karlos ... it sounds like a bit of a waste of time and money.
What is it with sides (not just ours) when they go away?
Brilliant at home .. but shoite away.
It just goes to show games are lost in the head, then lost on the pitch.
No real damage done, the table never lies ... we are the third worst side in the division. It's a fact ... not having a go ... it's a fact.

Let's rip into Workington and go out on a high ... and then take stock and do something about the fact that we have underachieved.

I genuinely think the side we have is a top six side ... potentially, but results would suggest otherwise.

I think in all honesty, the side we finished the season with was potentially top six. However, the side we started the season with was far from that and therefore it was an uphill battle to get into the play-offs.

It's a positive that we are disappointed when we lose now (although as I wasn't there, I'll leave the comments on the manor of the defeat to those who were). Let's not forget, the side we started the season with got nilled by Siddal. We've come a long way from there.
