Thanks Graham, and i know how you feel about the team and the club, hopefully if this is sorted out with the supporters trust, then all the money from fans contribution, rl money, cup money, sponsorship and gate money will all go into ONE trust/fund and this will be looked after by the Supporters trust board that as been voted for by the fans and no one else will have the powers to spend money without the board being involved.
There is a meeting with the interim fans board next week to try and look at the future of the club and see what is proposed, then hopefully some good news will follow from this.

I contributed £40 a month to DISC almost from when it started. I stopped the standing order in April, because to be honest I had absolutely no idea where the money was going to and what it was being used for. There appeared to be no accountability, and frankly I am not comfortable with that.
A bit of information in say the match programs, this website or the club website would have done very nicely. But nothing.
I will gladly chuck in to any new supporters trust, but to be honest it would need to be a bit more 'visible' than DISC.

This is things that hopefully in time would be put into the programme and also on the website when its back up running, how much the fans are donating through the supporters fund and where we will be looking at using it.
I am one for looking at local youngsters and hopefully bring them through the ranks to play for the local club.
There is some good lads in Doncaster through all the local teams and there is also a lot of talent just on the fringes of Doncaster.

I would expect any new 'trust' or 'society' to be completely financially transparent. Having been involved with a Supporters Group between 2002 - 2006 which was operated that way, I believe that it is the only way.
I think you will find that money from the original squadbuilder fund did go towards players that is partly how we had Graham Holroyd but as we allowed the money to be paid into an account run by the club we had no control over how it was spent.

Good. Is there any money from DISC left, and are there any plans to either merge it into the Trust, or keep separate and make a 'donation'.
I may be able to offer my services (Accountant) if there is a need, and depending on how much time would be involved.

The last time i spoke with Daryl Clarke there wasnt much left in the account as we had given the club another few quid.(This was about 3 or 4 weeks ago).

He might be? but either way there is no avoiding us..
It always makes me smile, when I see the fellas getting their money out as we walk towards em, I think they have realised now that theres no point in refusing to buy a ticket..
Serously though, Adele has put a lot of time and effort into raising money for the Dons over the years, she has blue & gold blood in her veins..
Enjoy life today, yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come....
