Yes, it was re-scheduled. Batley were (incredibly) still in the Challenge Cup when we should have met originally.

Dont under estimate Batley with wins against Whitehaven, Widnes and picking a point up in Toulouse in out previous three matches we may even make the play offs

Well the story was we could.......but we were obviously badly managed.
The fact remains you lot tonked a shadow of a team.

Not underestimateing you but at the time I was referring to your form was poor.

Our 17 individuals were certainly no match for you yesterday.

Yes we had a bad start to the season including losing 70-0 at Halifax but Karl Harrison has come in and brought new training methods and a more proffesional approach, apart from Handforth we have exactly the same team as the begining of the season.
My point was that I think you caught Batley on a good run and in good form nothing more than that.

What a poor reply. We were not very good pre-Harrison but have improved. Is it luck to manage your resources well enough to survive and be able to complete a season without going bust? Not too sure you would have 'stuffed' us with your original side, you were hardly setting the division alight now were you?
I am not sure that ernie1 was offering sympathy, I believe he was offering support, which you need is spades at the moment. He was one of the many Batley supporters who applauded your team off at featherstone yesterday, not through sympathy but recognition of the effort your players put in for your club.
And if all those concerned with batley have one thing in abundance it's perspective, one thing that your managers/owners/directors of the past few years have clearly lacked.

Sorry but I cannot be responsible for one supporter making a ridiculous comment. During any period a player is down injured I will patiently wait until he is fit and ready to play again because I have been in that position myself.
Making all Batley supporters out to be bad guys for the sake of a comment from an individual you must agree is going over the top
