i like the signing of young potential players but we need a quick fix to get out of this league and we never get to see them blossom because they go in search of bigger clubs or btter standard rugby which is y we need promotion

Let's hope if that's the case then that they are backs. I can't see how we are going to compete with 7 or 8 backs (no room for injuries, suspensions etc) - Unless players thought to be forwards (e.g. Edwards, Kesik) are going to be used in the backs?

At last someone who thinks like me.
Welcome to the 'moaners club'.
Moaners are people who point out that things are less than perfect or express concerns and raise awkward questions.
Enough of that, I digress.

Yes I agree with you and have stated that in my ever-so-humble view  that we just simply haven't got the time this season to develop so many young players, the season will be half-over before we know where we are and if they don't come up to scratch we are in the doggy-doo-doos.
If we are happy to stay in this division after this season and develop a side then that's one way but it wouldn't be mine, because as you say at the end of every season we'll just lose any stand-out players we have nurtured.
And we go back a few squares and have to start again.
The problems with recruitment this season has really highlighted the dilemmas facing a club like ours.
Every season is a trip into uncertainty.

Was anyone talking about you?
Now stop moaning about moaners and about 6s and 7s.
You'll have us all at 6s and 7s.

Did you just delete a post about specialist 6s and 7s ... you did didn't you?
Naughty!

Here's your list ..

Backs

Mick Butterfield
Dean Colton
Jamie Crowther
Craig Fawcett
Tom Hodson
Stuart Sanderson
Lee Waterman

There will be an experienced half back to join them (as a minimum).

As someone who thumbs through the League Express and gets to know other team's players, I know the majority of backs in most other teams. Would an opposition fan know many of ours?
Butterfield, Colton possibly and Fawcett and Sando maybe.
