Tomkins is quite brilliant, especially for one so slight.
He's brave and I for one am astounded by how he has not been crippled by some frustrated pie-muncher he has given the run around to.

For England he has been great and no doubt has won a lot of cynical critics over.
People will no doubt go back to hating him once the England game is over, because they are fickle and jealous.

I hope he has a blinder against the dirty Aussies, get's the man of the match and shuts some folk up.

He's special, Wigan are lucky to have him.
People hate Wigan, so people hate Sam Tomkins.
If he played for their club people would love him.

OK he's tugged a few arms and milked a few penalties, but he seems to have stopped most of that and has become the target of some savage attacks to injury him and put him out of the game.
But he keeps getting up ... marvellous!

The high tackle followed by the blatant dropped elbow to the head by the Kiwi's on Saturday really lowered my opinion of them.

He's arguably the best player in the country at the moment, let him be arrogant (although I think arrogance and confidence are often mistaken)

I am no Leeds fan but i think some one like Kevin Sinfield is a class above in his sportmanship and general manner as well as being a great player.

Actually, he has a lot to be arrogant about, if he indeed he is arrogant ... which I doubt.
PLUS, to his credit, he is quite modest when he scores tries ... which doesn't fit in well with the image some people like to portray of him.
He is not a crowd inciter or anything like that or someone who milks the applause to the point of nauseum.
We should be proud of Sam Tomkins ... he is quite simply the best we have produced in a clutch of rich talent.
Long may he prosper and stay injury free.

I have become a Sam Tomkins fan after first seeing him bunny-hopping around and wanting someone to smash him.
I was wrong about him ... the guy is a diamond.

I don't understand these petty attitudes in this country. Sam Tomkins is a brilliant talent and the whole of the rugby league community should be behind him regardless of who he plays for.

We like to knock talent and fame, it's a form of jealousy.

Why?
If he was that good he would go to the NRL to prove himself instead of staying in the SL.

TBF He's 22 and his new deal only precludes him from talking to either NRL or RU Clubs for 3 years - Plenty of time for him to have a crack at the NRL.
