Feel a tad sorry for Fax - I like Wakey and would argue that they would be my second team after the Dons...but I think Fax had a good case. Not one bookies would open a book on the system as Wakey were deemed dead and buried...Crusaders pulling out (cough cough) should not then mean that Wakey all of a sudden are credible....
One point raised in League Express this week was not having a team succession equal that of SL....in this farce of a system how the hell is any team in the Championship leagues really going to deliver an SL level without SL finance??? Chick and Egg..
The Premier League is arguably one of the most successful leagues in the world...do they run a franchise system....madness..
One of the key elements of any sport is competition - to finish top of a league and not get promotion doesn't make sense....teams like Fev have nowhere to go at present...Widnes however have.....?
