Hi Guys, can anybody comment on the game that was played yesterday.
How did both Skolars & Donny go??
I saw that the score was 40-12 but that is all that i know.

LOndon were very hard working and took the ball in very hard in the first half...Aggrey aside they lacked players who looked like being able to finish the job though (Aggrey's second try was a corker). They have the foundations there but need to start building off them.
Donny were poor in the first half but got the game by the scruff of the neck in the second passing better and looking more fluid with it. Felt in the first half we tried going through the middle too much and certainly rode our luck at times (our first try was never a try in a million years)
Da Vinci had a great second half, reflected with his 4 tries (3 in the 2nd period) and worked hard to finish them all. Weedon passed well at stand off but didn't have Briggs movement and the kicking game suffered. Speake's conversions were almost perfect, kicking 2 from touch...although the one he missed was arguably the easiest of the day.
Lessons learned for me is that we're going to have to pass the ball more as we do not have the phsyicality to play the forwards game as much as we tried yesterday
Thanks for that info Jemmo.
I have always thought Austin should be playing at a higher level however I think his work is what keeps him in London.
I am have always been impressed with your halves and as long as your forwards play smart footy, you guys should do okay.
Good luck for the season!!
