I keep hearing everyone say that this is the most important season ever for the Dons - do we all agree?
As you may know I have recently been moved to head up the commercial department. This is a big challenge in the present economic climate but I promise that I will pull out all the stops to make a success of this role.
As well as working with the local and regional business community to gain their support for sponsorship, through the various packages we have available, I will also be calling on our fans and supporters to help us.
Fans and supporters have a valuable role to play in the club's future. Over the past few weeks I have been hearing that this is one of the most important seasons in the club's history - I think this is something we can all agree on.
How can you help? Obviously we need support at events and our games - that goes without saying. We also need business contacts or other potential leads for sponsorship.
One of the first and easier ways to help is with this year's Christmas Draw. I need people to please come forward to sell tickets for the Dons. If we can get 100 supporters to sell £20 worth of tickets each, this would go a long way to hitting the target of £5000 from the draw.
My door is always open and my phone is always on. If you can offer any help at all please get in touch. I am here to run the commercial department and provide finance for the club. I don't want to get bogged down in politics - I just want the best for OUR club.
