Hi All, I'm putting together an article on players who we released and/or left us at the end of last season and I'd like to get Doncaster fans' thoughts on how Scott Spaven has fared in the Championship One this year. I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Cheers,

hkrloyal

He's doing well, but has been dogged with injuries or knocks.
He's a good kicker and has a tidy turn of speed when he spots a gap.
I think there is more to come from Scott, he just needs to make sure he doesn't put any weight on, he is chunky enough.
I like him.

Through out the season I think that Spaven has been a main part of the team, he controls the games well.
Spaven's future lies at an higher level of rugby, he's a very smart player, although for me as a fan it will be upsetting to see him leave as he's such a vital player with in the team here at Donny.
He had a great game against Oldham, getting over the line for our first try and having a brilliant kicking game through out.
I wish Scott all the best for the rest of the season.

In the games where Scott plays well, we play well. When his kicking game is on top form, his tactical kicking is exceptional (although I'd say there are some games where it doesn't seem to come off for him in that department). Pivotal member of our starting line up for me, and one of the first names on the sheet
