On Friday 21st May, Doncaster Rugby League Supporters Trust will be hosting a Race Night at The Drum Pub in Bentley.

Starting at 7:30pm entrance is free and everyone is welcome for an evening which always guarantees to be great fun for all ages.

Over the night we will be running 8 races, which have all been kindly sponsors by local businesses, and punters can bet on the winners and earn themselves a nice little profit.

The Drum is on Watch House Lane in Bentley (situated a stones throw from Bentley Station)

I do enjoy a race night , but Janet & I are away due to a family wedding !

Calling all big money gamblers, call down at the Drum, Bentley on 21.5.10 where you can do some serious betting... well maybe a quid here and a quid there.

Call down and support the supporters trust of the Dons rugby league club, Money raised goes towards the sponsoring of the supporters player of the Month, so please be a part of it and come down for a drink and a laugh.

For my part, although being there was not an option, I did sponsor a race and I hope that the Trust have had a profitable night.

We decided to have a draw for the Main Race sponsorship and would like to congratulate Needhams motorcyles for being the winning sponsor.

Many thanks to every one who sponsored the races, and who came out as a winning owner or jockey, many prizes were taken on the night but the rest of the prizes will be given at the Dons game to the winning people.
