Dean Sampsons cousin Lee Sampson turned out for the Dons a few times, but was neither an international or acutally much cop

And Paul Sampson another cousin of Dean---

1)In the summer of 1996 won the England Schools 100 metres title in 10.48 seconds, beating Dwain Chambers into second.

2)Played for Wasps amongst others and won an England cap against South Africa at the end of the 1998 Rugby Union tour.
