For once i feel we must congratulate our friends from down the road. Putting all things aside well done on reaching wembley.

Perhaps one day you might be able to get a trophy cabinet like the Vikings

Love a brew.

Yep, good game and a good advert on national tele. Stobart looked great too!

For me the derbies are all about banter and getting one over on each other, never understood the hatred from some people.

Seeing the stadium like that does leave a bitter taste though... one day, one day.

Back the bid - not back it until the going gets tough. WTID

Wire winning through to Wembley makes me sad.

Cannot compare to Bloomfield Road. :(

pity there fans decided to start fighting in the west stand instead of celebrating the hicks try that sealed it.

god knows how bad it might have been had wigan actually managed to complete the come back.

an atmosphere that isn't created by people in matching shirts clapping along to a drum or novelty PA music might be nice!

Well, they've finally made a final. Well done. Good luck to the other team! :D

Shows what can be done when the players actually understand what the coach is trying to tell them

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

I'm happy to see the team that invested more in quality British players than any old imports. So well done Wire. Happy to see Briers having something to cheer about, he's a quality player and deserves it.

i agree espically with the imports as wigan did have a few overseas as well
the other week they had a backline without one british player which is pretty shocking
glesson and tomkins have come in now though

Left for work when Wigan were 8-0 up, arrived with wire being 8-24 ahead, put a stinker on the rest of my shift!
