What do people think of the club now and where they expected us to be after that dreaded tuesday last year. Have we progressed as a club, are we going places.

Alot of Widnes fans i know have stayed loyal to the club i believe that as the next 2 years go on, we will continue to get stronger and build an irresistable SL application.

Credit to the club and SOC, they are a credit to our game and club and i am honoured to have him incharge of Widnes Vikings.

SOC has single handedly saved this club. Without him I think we'd be going the way of Leigh.

We're in a better position than I feared we'd be in. We've lost a bit of support this year but I think the NRC win will rectify that. Now we know we can apply again the pressure is off so we can concentrate on the rugby.

In that respect I'm not so happy. We should be at least on a par with Fax but NRC aside it's been a poor year on the field. Hopefully we will be much better next year.

I think Paul Cullen has made a massive difference on and off the field. He told the club the harsh truth and made some very tough decisions. Between the O'Connors and Cullen we have 3 very astute rugby and business brains who are very media savvy and know exactly how to play the game with the RFL. I'm still to be convinced that the RFL will do the right thing this time but we're stronger from the top down than we've ever been. I think in 2012 we could make a massive contribution to the comp if we keep moving the way we are. We're well on track to providing the complete package now. Not even some clubs in Super League can boast that.

I think you've gone backwards. You only lost six league matches all last season. You've already lost seven matches this season. Your one saving grace is that you've won the inferior choo choo cup.

Your only bitter cause you never won the choo choo cup, i have every faith in steve Oconnor that when the applications come around again ours will be pass this time.

This is what you scream to the voices in your head when you're alone and your brain is telling you how much you love widnes.

I'm pretty happy actually..
I think we had a bad start this season but things are picking up performance wise. We are in the position where we can apply for a franchise spot and have the benefit of possibly still adding to that in the next year or two.
We still have an excellent set up which will make us a favourite for the spot.

SOC has remained as committed as ever..

The press are absolutely loving us at the moment!!! and so are a lot of fans from rival clubs.

All in all it's good.. I am now growing in confidence that we will get the nod for 2012..
