As I've said.. not too bothered about this if it does happen. It will give Flynn an opportunity again who is just as good as Penny in my opinion.

We can always recall Danny Mills back from Sheffield to if needs be.

The real business is keeping hold of Pickersgill and Grayshon who have been in very decent form since they arrived.

Definitely, Penny is a luxury though I do think he's performed better than Paddy and certainly has bags more pace which has proved crucial in attack and defence on many occasions. I think we'd miss him for sure especially with the toughest run coming up now.

Tony Smith said today he considered recalling both of them last week but isn't for now, as they've got five returning.

S

With the deadline coming up for transfers & loans, i'd expect TS will only recall them if he absolutely needs too!

I.E. If he brings them back for 1 game then players retrun they'll be back in reerves til rest of year which simply isn't worth it!

Mathers has got a one match ban so cant see TS recalling Penny as yet. He's seems to be doing alright at your place and the more game time he can get under his the belt, the better for us in the long run.

Also believe Pickers is doing well?

He is indeed. To be honest I thought he was just a bad tempered, ill disciplined penalty machine, going by what I remember of his past. But he really hasn't been that at all so far. He's worked hard in defence and performed well in attack. His discipline has been superb, he's beefed up our pack and would be the main player I'd like us to sign out of the two.

A couple of people said Pickersgill was a penalty machine when we signed him, then everyone else jumped on the bandwagon and said the same without seeing him play.

I actually think for a player that plays with alot of pwer and aggression his discipline is very good.
