Think I would go with.. 1 Peachey* 2 Blanch* 3 TKL 4 Nanyn 5 Penny 6 Moran* 7 Webster 8 O'Connor* 9 Smith 10 Wilkes 11 Morrison 12 Cassidy* 13 Noone* 14 Thakerey 15 Fellous 16 Gannon 17 McDermot* *Thats if they were all playing at their prime and not to the standard they were at when playing for us. Tho some were and still are playing quite well. |

He thought he, along with Terry O'Connor and Barrie McDermott should not have been playing against smaller clubs and should have been saved for the big games only. He was supposed to have been injured, but two different specialists could find nothing wrong. Apart from paying that big outstanding tax bill thereby saving the club from going bust in 2006, the best thing Steven Vaughan did was get rid of Peachey, who was a drain on the finances of Widnes. And when he went, no other club in the UK came in for him which says a lot. He was a big name, but on the field for Widnes he was no Sprogger. |

Interesting that most of you have picked Beswick when most of you said he was crap when Halifax signed him? |

Its just like saying Moran wasnt as good on his last year as his previous year, but when he was good he was really good. When we signed Beswick he was one of our better players in the team and was loved by the fans. Thats why i chose him. |
