Saw the interview and he stated that one of the reasons we didn't get a licence was because our youth development wasn't good enough, i presume that's because we lost a lot of the youth players we had in 2007 had left when the club went bang. He also stated that they are making sure that the next licence application would tick every box. |

Aye Youth Development not good enough? Says a lot for some other sides! Surely even those lost have to count as we 'developed' them! Nash, Sidlow, Myler to name 3! |

You didn't get the license last time round because it was too soon after administration - even though your house had been put in order by Steve O. I guess it just wouldn't have looked right would it? Club goes bust and within months, gets admitted to Super League. It was too unpallatable for the RFL. No excuses next time though. Barring similar disasters you're a shoe in and the calm and measured responses to the license failure from your Chairman was professional and non-controversial (unlike Leigh's ). Don't forget us little people left in the Championship though will you. Loan players, friendly matches etc ....... What will Fingerpost do in 2012? If Saints are at KR, he won't have to swap ends |

Hope your right Ritch! Think that’s what SO’C is basically saying, all we have to do now is stay financially viable and should be laughing, prob why all going part time next year, just to protect from a sudden other economic downturn! I don’t blame Leigh guy for coming out, he had a point didn’t he! Cru beat Leigh in No aspects other than position of club geographically so why wheren’t Leigh in? Why where Leigh judged on Hilton Park and not LSV, whereas even in RFL’s own lowdown the likes of Salford / Wakey / Saints and Cru had mention of new grounds… LEIGH’S WAS BUILT! TBH, It’s best not to get into it really isn’t |

If Saints are at KR, he won't have to swap ends I was shocked to find out that the person who gave that statement is still at the club giving statements. Steve O was very professional even when the BBC tried to provoke him with the Celtic question. |

I would suggest the fact that we only have 8 full time players means that Steve O has been very careful financially from the start of this year. Leigh didn't beat them on the criteria. Their application was very unprofessional. |
