From what the commentators said he got sin-binned for something (high tackle I think), he then decided to mouth off, so got himself sent off, then to make matters worse decided to carry it on further. Given his previous record as well, you'd be surprised if he didn't get a ban - well I probably won't be surprised, but certainly looks like he deserves one.

Bad news for Widnes this. Should mean you miss out on at least 5 penalties he would give you.

*If* he does get suspended Barrow will appeal which will mean the suspension is delayed and he will be able to play in the final. The only problem with this is that what ever suspension he does get will probably be increased. It's seems to be a gamble Barrow are prepared to take.

Catic was still serving a 4 match ban for arguing with the ref at the start of the season. To be back in front of the RFL for the same thing, only a few months later.... Don't know what was said, but I can't see him getting off lightly.

See you all in Blackpool
The appeal would be heard either the same day or the following day so a ban would still apply for the final.

if that was the case, you would still serve the ban, even the rfl are not stupid enough to let you play the first weekend after you get banned on the off chance you night appeal the following week.
