Remember speaking to him in the Hilton Lounge at Leigh. Nice guy who loved his Rugby. Condolences to all that knew him. |

Awful news. Did everything he could for Widnes and got us into Super League. RIP Tony sadly missed. |

Just to add as well that he always came down to the club after the match to face the fans during his tenure.. regardless of whether they were good, bad or terrible and never shirked what he saw as his responsibility.
