Ignoring the result firstly, I just have to say what an awesome game today was. End to end, big hits, questionable refereeing decisions, drama, tension, the lot. The keyboard warriors on here missed an absolute belter.

Congratulations on making the final. Personally I don't think you were the better team but you took your chances at the times they mattered and for that you deserved the win. Albeit the positions to take the chances were from completely inept and inconsistant refereeing in the first half, however he did even it up slightly in the second. It did look like we obstructed on the way to one of our tries for example.

Your support today was superb, big pat on the back for your club for organising the coaches as the atmosphere was superb, coupled with the fact that your fans after the game weren't gloating, just in high spirits emphasised the fact that you were great supporters. Just these keyboard warriors letting you down.

Best of luck in Balckpool for what should be a fantastic game and we'll see you in the Grand Final hopefully!

Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely gutted and numb because I thought we had the game won, but you've got to give Widnes their dues, the referee can piggy back you up the field but you've got to get over the line and you did.

Thackray was superb today, along with Gaskell.

Yes... er. well thanks i suppose. Seems somewhat begrudged, with everything blamed on the ref, but I'll take it.

On thread drift:

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”

There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back!

Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!
