Thought Hall looked decent to be honest. His only downside was that it looked like him and Penny had been playing together for about 5 mins which is 5 mins more than they have been playing together! I think they will be potent when they develop a little more of an understanding. Hall did create at least two breaks for Penny but he just misread them. Looks good for a week or two down the line.

At times we looked organized and play as such! Thought we looked a lot better following the 4 subs! Forwards doing more of the work and delighted to see Gaskell proving to be a handful still. Toa proved his class with a fairly easy hat-trick.
Thacks and Webster moving play around at times but all of this in fairly short spells.
On the downside I'm not confident with Dodd at fb. He never looked like wanting to take a catch on the full. Tremendous try saving tackle though were he put the player in touch.
The defence as a whole has to be our main worry. It was atrocious at times tonight.
Also why don't we back Penny's pace. How much field did he have at times tonight to chase a kick.
Overall a disappointing night. Things need to and hopefully should get better.
