he was not greatest but i am sure results would have been better if he stayed, but i still would have got rid at the end of the season.

I agree i think cullen should go, he's had his chance now and done cr*p at it, to much training in defence and none in attack.
Steve o should have just kept stanky in charge at least they won under him. Is it 3 loss's in a row is not acceptable, i just feel sorry for the fans who make it all that way to see them get beat.

If they loose next sat against Gateshead it will be a pure embarassment!!

on that note doran should go as well, 2 many penaltys and mistakes, how much longer is cullen gonna give him !!
class last year, pap this year !!

i went lastnight and was utterly dissapointed

Thank goodness you do not own the club then.

Sack the coach and replace with who? Who on Earth would come - answer; nobody.

What, magically transform an undersized team into a side capable of winning the division?

Cullen can't be blamed for the current situation and I'm a coach skeptic anyway. It's down to the players in the end.

Can you understand McCormack's sacking? Surely the answer had to be yes..

Can you understand Steve O'Connor wanting to bring in another coach other than Stanny? At the moment yes in what was supposed to be such an important season..

Can all the blame be laid at the door of Cullen? No...
As people have said, the balance of the team is wrong... we are desperately unlucky that Fletcher and Morrison have been injured for such long spells already.
Add to that this incredible system of training that we have employed this year at the behest of the Gateshead coach it's no wonder that we are struggling so badly.

I agree it is the players as well don't get me wrong, the majority of the side do not deserve a place in the squad. Too many young lads and not enough experience.

At the end of the day though cullen has had his chance and if anything the team is worse, the coach is the one who tells them what to do game wise and how they get trained and its obv not working.

the lads are obv not gelling as a team and SOMEONE needs to do something about it, otherwise we will only continue to get worse and worse.

No Jamie, Cullen HASN'T had his chance. He can't bring anybody in. That's is precisely the point I have been making. You haven't given him a chance. He needs at least 12 months. I am a coach in a different sport, and you cannot turn things round quickly (even though I twice saved a club from relegation, simply by constantly bigging up self-belief). The difference here is that self-belief isn't going to be enough. We need muscle. And quickly. Patience is a virtue.......that few Widnes fans have :D
