Widnes Vikings' reserve hooker Brett Robinson is to join Rochdale Hornets on a months loan.

Robinson, one of the Club's part-time players, will join the Hornets with a view to playing at a higher level than the current Reserve competition and gaining an opportunity to get more experience of first team rugby.


Thought he looked bright in pre - season and think he should have at least been given a shot in the 1st team as a bench replacement for Smithy! Hope he goes well at Rochdale however!

How old is he?? Does he count on the cap??

Are we looking to bring in another player on a loan deal or is this truly an attempt at getting the lad some game time?

I can't imagine he commands a hefty wage so I would be surprised if he will make a lot of room for someone else to come in.

Hopefully looking to get him some game time. He is still young, think he is about 19.

Suprised we haven't seen that much of him yet, would like to see how he gets on at Rochdale.

will be good for brett to get some first time rugby something he is getting here at widnes.
