yes defiantly need bigger forwards
doran doesnt catch the eye enough for me
but gannon played well on saturday
as did ostick when he was on
but still two more bigger forwards who actually gain a few yards would be nice :D

I don't think you will find another Widnes fan that doesn't agree with you or the even the coach for that matter..

Things should improve once we have Fletcher, Morrison and Bannister back from injury. They will provide a little more ooomph going forward... but I completely agree that a big Fellous type prop is just what the doctor orders at the moment.

For the time being though id imagine Cullen will want to run with what he has and as he has already said take a look at those players on the fringes who havent had much game time due to the reserves not picking up yet.

If Sam Thompson could get any sort of cohesion into his defence then he'd be a very useful player. He's certainly got the strength and the ability to offload but he was very static in defence on Saturday and I dont think he got through a great deal of time on the pitch either.

For the first time on Saturday I think we saw a small inkling of some ability in him which has been devoid in any of his previous performances.

Was quite impressed with his short performance on Saturday, he did well going forward and wasn't too bad defensively. A bit more time and a few more performances will do him good.

He's certainly the "bigger pack" sort of player that we need right now.
