Knights fan here. Any idea what day of the week it'll be played on as i see that in the 1st half of the season you play on Friday nights and the 2nd half on Saturday nights. |

Hi tanghaller.. to be honest it could be any day really.. The club wanted to play all of it's home games on a Friday night but were told that certain games had to be played on a Saturday night. I think this was because some of the other NL1 clubs wanted the game moving away from a weekday night due to work commitments of the players and distances to travel etc.. |

Yer, its probably going to depend on whatever York agree to. If York don't mind playing on a Friday, it will probably be then, if not then Saturday is more likely than Sunday. Having said that though, the Friday / Saturday games are supposed to be because of live footie on Sky on a Sunday and by the time of the York game, the footie season will be finished (I think). |

If you ask the club about the switch to Friday/Saturday night matches the first reason they will give is it is to give the players more time to prepare for the Thursday night TV matches and the second reason is so that the fans who have been staying away because they would rather sit either at home or in the pub watching 22 overpaid idiots chasing after the wrong shaped ball can come to the matches. |
