I'm already looking forward to the game, I hope we can take that form into the game, if so we should win quite comfortable

Think you might have a false sense of security from the past two games against and amatuer team and a very very poor toulouse side.

The season wont be won on Thursday, it's early doors yet and we are still finding our feet. I fully expect us to beat Halifax come Thursday but i wouldnt be to surprised if it ended in a close defeat.

It will be there cup final, a big crowd in attendance (will they top 1,500??? )

And has that stand been finished yet?

Only one good thing come out of Halifax and that's littlerich who's seen the light and become a lancashire chap.

Has all this confidence come from the last two games or when you were getting beat by Oldham and Barrow did you think "its still early days"?

Oh and the stand is getting there...we have a roof now!

To be honest, I think you'll probably will win.

I also think that the players are getting used to the new style of play, a style of play you rarely saw from a Steve Mac team. Toulouse cannot be as bad as all that, as they didn't get hammered by Sheffield even though they had a man sent off.

Our weakness lies in the strength and size of our props, but if we play as we have been, and throw the ball about with excellent support play, add a good kicking game to that and I don't see why we can't pull off a shock.

The truth is that Halifax haven't really been tested either so it's a test for us both. Don't pay too much attention to our respective Barrow results.

Whatever the result on Thursday night, Widnes will get stronger. I think we have better strength in depth than Halifax and have a good reserve side to draw on. Being full-time should also help come the business end of the season.

I won't be disheartend if Fax sneak it, but anything can happen fully expecting Bob to have a stormer and smithy likewise glad we are on the telly tends to add to our performance

Disgusting remark. I spit in your general direction. :P

You're right about our crowds though - disappointing. Once the East Stand eyesore has been completed (December'09?) i think attendances will increase - especially after an NRC trophy in the cabinet, sitting alongside our first GF trophy. It's going to be one hell of a ride over the next three years - especially with the Vikings hanging onto our shirt tails :D
