I cant believe i took the day of from work to got to Barrow to watch that shower of poop.

No heart and no desire and a total lack of size cost us big time, I would fine Anthony Thackeray a months wages for failing to find touch twice of penalties and he was overall a real disappointment. My second player to single out is Sam Thompson who was utter poop, a lad of his size should be doing some damage but he was awful. I have also had enough of Gavin Dodd, some might say that is harsh as he was only on the pitch for a short period of time but trying to scoot over on the last tackle and getting crunched short is is a complete waste when your chasing a game. The stand out players again Paddy Flynn, Dean Gaskell and Scott Yates who made a couple of try saving tackles to save further embarrasment. The new coach has a huge amount of work to do with the current crop we have, the reason why Webster has been poor thus far is down to us having a featherlight pack with very little go forward IMO.

Changes i would make are as follows.

Danny Mills to replace Gavin Dodd

Varkulis to move to centre instead of Hartley who shouldnt be in the team

Thackeray to be on the bench, Duffy at 6 and Webster at 7

Bannister is ready for a return, his availibility should enable Doran to move in to the front row.

A strict disciplined coach is also needed, we give away far to many cheap penalties.

Im very fecked of this morning.

It is also obvious we need a big man bringing in, 2 if possible.

Paul Prescott from Wigan isnt getting a game at the moment, he's a good player and would go well at this level. Would be worth enquiring about.

Mark Leafa still hasnt been signed.

Perhaps we dont have any room on the cap i dont know but we sure need someone else in the engine room.

It is real disappointing considering the hopes we all had in pre season.

Love a brew.

Expected quite a lot more from Widnes, and im sure i'll see more next time we play you. Im surprised you havent mentioned Kohe Love. He was so disinterested and only touched the ball maybe five or six times, he was completely outplayed by his opposite number(Liam Harrison) and looked like he never wanted to make a tackle. All he wanted to do was push people and spit out his dummy. Considering he's probably on more than our 2 centres combined i thought his performance and commitment were disgusting.

an atmosphere that isn't created by people in matching shirts clapping along to a drum or novelty PA music might be nice!

To be fair Toa has played well in the last couple of games and he was wound up good style last night by the Barrow Number 6. I thought at one stage he was going to lose the plot completely and deck him one but he didnt. He didnt really get the ball in any decent positions to cause any damage.

Love a brew.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
