Iain Morrison ruled out for around 10 weeks, maybe longer.

Sam Thompson was pretty decent vs Saints in pre season i thought
but we need someone with the same will power as Morrison
like Adel Felous last season, always took the ball up like it was a matter of life or death
Big samoan/tongan will do the trick

true, ostick has been looking quite good so far for us, but all of the props we have are too lightweight.it's ok having the young uns coming through playing alongside a bit of experince, but we only have gannon who couldn't break the skin on a rice pudding

He breaks as many tackles as Morrison. Don't understand why Gannon gets such a raw deal off some fans.

i never said he wasn't a good player, he just isn't a blockbusting type of prop, he tends to run in pretty slowly and try the offload (which in his time here we have NEVER backed up) this isn't his fault it's just that we have never used him for the kind of game he plays. what most people are after is a foil for this type of player i.e. one who runs the ball in strongly and gets the opposition on the back foot

Mark Leafa hasnt been snapped up so far this year and i would get him signed along with a loaned prop from SL like Ryan Boyle http://www.castigers.com/cgi-bin/profiles.cgi?17.

More options should also be provided as Bannister should soon be returning.
