He should have thought about that though before nailing his colours to Scotland. Still i do think he's one of the best scrum halfs we have in this country. |

Going to England is all about funding. Sport England won't fund a project for GB. RL is now the 3rd highest funded sport and by changing the brand its brought the money which funds grassroots work and elite pathways. When Brough went to Scotland he was at York and possibly didnt think he would get as far as he did? The key is working to build a structure where players are encouraged to play for Celtic nations as they will have the same opportunities as England. A long road, but the one we should be going down. |

Now there's loads of cash in rugby union, I don't see Scotland, Wales or Ireland ever producing enough players to be able to perform to a level where they can give the Aussies a game. Not that England can, mind you. |

I meant in rugby league. I should have been a bit clearer there! There's no longer the cash incentive to leave union for league. |
