And I got one with it too. I just don't think it makes sense to limit it to 1 per ticket holder. I as a season ticket holder was not able to take advantage because two in my party don't have season tickets. 2 per ticket holder would have been better.

I understand what you are saying but, our initial allocation was only something like 2,800 apparantly we've still got about 2,000 season ticket holders - if everyone wanted 2 tickets we would have needed 4,000 tickets, which we just don't have.

So yes I agree about it being frustrating, I was in the same situation as both you and John S. So that all three of us, maybe prooves it not exactly perfect, but whats the alternative if there simply aren't enough tickets to go around?

For clubs with lower attendances they can probably offer two final tickets for one season ticket but we are in the favourable position I guess that demand outstrips supply.

I hope you / have got sorted mate. I am off in Dubrovnik for the final  My season ticket was given to one of my mates who hasn't got one otherwise I would have offered on here.
i had one last year see previous post

I'm not un-sympathetic with your plight mate.. quite the opposite. My dad doesn't get a season ticket either and for the 2007 GF at Headingly I got one with my season ticket and then waited to see whether we could get one for my old man.
That is quite different to this as I appreciate that was standing and so there wasn't quite the importance of having to get tickets together etc..

If I could go to Blackpool then I would be in exactly the same boat as you and your lot.

As I said mate.. I hope you have got sorted or do get sorted and you have a great day out.

As an aside.. if you have already got married then congratulations and if you are yet to get married.. all the best.. my wedding day in 2008 was one of the best days of my life.. along with a few other Widnes related days too.

Cheers, had a great afternoon at the Stobart on my wedding day, we got tickets in the end, I think a change of venue is needed if it was held at a ground like JJB or Glapharm then i reckon there would be no ticket issues

Not as easy as that my In Enemy Territory friend.

The RFL have messed that one up cutting out the Sunday Rugby for me.
It was the perfect day for Rugby as people off work this day .

Get the facts first matey

My facts are right though buryhim11... come the latter half of this season the club will try and market season tickets again and they will tell people what the benefits are.. Season tickets are incredibly important to the club as it is guaranteed income.
a) It is typically cheaper to get a season ticket than to pay for all home games individually
b) Priority on ticket allocation for finals
c) No messing about trying to get a ticket on matchday
People have a choice whether they want to buy a ticket or hold off and pay for each of the games separately. I understand for some they can't afford to pay for a season ticket or it is not practical.. but I don't see why one of the major benefits of having a season ticket should be taken away. Especially as it is very often the case that pretty much everyone that is desperate for a ticket will get one anyway.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Not me, i shall be in the ground about half an hour before kick off, then the real atmosphere will begin.

The Viking Invasion is coming.................................................

Actually should Halifax make the 9's final then it would be rude not to show my appreciation to Ben Black.

You seriously think Fax will risk playing the likes of Black in the Mm 9 , s ?

Fax travel to Toulouse the following weekend [ who of course get a week off to rest ] , so lets face it you dont want Black to get injured as I would guess you want Fax to beat the French
