Pepe and VM...
I understand to an extent with what your saying.. but in all honesty can you really single Loz out for criticism for his performances. I've seen all games this year with the exception of Oldham (in which I believe he had a stinker) and Doncaster. In all other games I don't think that you could say he has been sulking about being played out of position or that he has underperformed.
It's hardly like he has thrown a wobbly like Smith about being played at Loose when Beswick had a stint at Hooker.. He hasn't simply decided he doesn't want to play and gone missing like Moule. He can hardly be put in the same bracket as Emilio and friends for not trying.
The facebook posts are unfortunate but I can to an extent understand why.. People were horrified by the reaction of some fans after the Halifax games..'I'd like to see them go and say those things to their faces'.. 'very brave of them to say it from the terraces' etc etc.. why then should we be surprised if the players were upset.

Another full time club where he gets a full time wage though?

You do realise Loz is part time dont you?
You do realise he was told he would only have to train once a week which is what is in his contract yet he is been asked to train twice or three times a week dont you?
He is not on a full time wage at all, far from it. He know he was wrong to say things on facebook but I reckon you would be a little fed up when you are trying to juggle work, training, a family and of course match day only to be played in a position you find difficult and then face abuse from fans of the club.
Loz is far from perfect but come on, does he deserve threads asking if he should be sacked etc?

So in order to provide some balance.. he mentions that the reason he has got so upset recently is that his little girl has started going on the messageboards and has obviously become very upset with some of the stuff that she has read about her dad. I can completely understand this.. From a playing perspective I personally don't understand why he has taken so much flak. Exactly what has he done that has been so bad??
He also goes on to say that no-one wants away from the club and that they are all there for the challenge.
I don't want to put the whole post on here but I was very impressed and my attitude is let's just get on with it. He seems like a really good guy in all honesty who wears his heart on his sleeve and I think people should just get off his back now.
Lets move on Widnes... we have a common goal.. lets get on with business.
nice post and to keep this thread in the right direction it sounds as if he wanted to impress striaight from the start of the season but its not gone for him at the club. frustration maybe but I have seen email he received and the reply he gave on facebook .
My feeling are he has let a lot of people down and after all the flack he sees on here he`s let himself down big time and a learning curve to be smacked in his face.
His reply was taking the p1ss out of a loyal widnes fan and if TOC got hold of the reply he gave, Terry would hit the roof !!!!
Somethings very wrong at the club I just hope they fix it and get back on track.
Roll on Super League

No I didn't realise that, I thought the whole team had full time contracts. I see what you're saying.

If someone idiotic person sends a player a message full of abuse they have to expect some back. This is more than likely the reason for different responses, constructive comments get you further than verbally attacking a player. He plays rugby because he is passionate about it, not for the money that everyone seems to think all the players are earning. I can honestly say I have never been to a ground were the fans are so critical of their players...take a step back for a moment because you all should be ashamed of yourselves
