Fair enuff!!

To be honest..we weren't expecting many.. I was expecting more Leigh fans to be there though... especially considering the number of give-aways that you had in the West stand..
Proper little crisis at that club I'd say!

At both our clubs , and Donny , and Haven , and Batley , and .........

Even at Fax considering how well they are playing

I can see only trouble ahead for this competition

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

I agree 100%.

We are steadily increasing our support but at a painfully slow rate. I have supported Fax all my life through good times and bad and I can state quite categorically that, if a promotion place was the prize for winning the grand final (or finishing at the top of the league as it should really be), we would be packing them in at a much more substantial rate.

Yep I would guess you would be hitting 4,000 aves this year if we still had promotion

It takes a long time to build support but a much shorter time to lose it

If say us you and Widnes were all to ' qualify ' to submit an application in 2011 and they give it to Toulouse any gains in support any of us make or manage to keep in Widnes's case will be lost immeidiatley

Gud innit

The number of people from Widnes attending was not an issue to me. They tried to get behind a beaten team and certainly added to the atmosphere, in fact I feel you helped "stimulate" our crowd into finding their voices.

Well done to all that attended

Agree there - couldn't hear a word when the teams came out (mainly due to the music on the PA) but it certainly helps the atmosphere at most grounds when there's the chance of a bit of a singing contest - even better when in separate stands IMHO.

Sadly this was always going to be the case with franchising. Shame the RFL didn,t take this into account when embarking on this what is after all a big risk to the professional game.

Crowds in Non Relegation League will suffer too. We have to hope franchising is scrapped sooner rather than later. Supporters of Championship clubs know that Toulouse will be a shoe in if it continues.

Club chairman need to have a word with the instigator of this idea, and that guy incidentally thinks youth development is better in Bridgend than where the sport is primarily played.
