It also adds some more fuel to the fire about the SL fullback we're signing.
yes you can have Rob Worrincy he is the king of running sideways, when if he ran forward a few times and round the side of the defence he would be uncatchable.
you can have him if you want. doesnt Dodd play on the wing for you quite a lot as well.

Natural FB! Played 6 in Bulls academy but if you see him pass / kick you'll wonder wtf! Knows what he wants to do, if it happens is a different matter lol, but that's why he's in NL1!
Can play wing and very well, defence is solid, but certainly best @ fb!

Very unfair. Apart from a few dodgy mistakes and some which could not be avoided against Toulouse, Gavin Dodd has been consistently one of our better performers all season.
His flashes of brilliance far out way the 'crazy' things he does. This perception of him by some fans just isn't true at all.

Gavin has given his all for Widnes over the years and has treated us to some real classic moments. I would be sad to see him go as he is loved by most of the crowd and i think he feels at home with the club.

Doddy is a legend!!!
He might not be our best player, but he gives absolutely everything. He's not one of those players who are irreplaceable, but I'd be sad to see him go.
On thread drift:

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back! Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!
If goes he deserves praise for his effort in a widnes shirt.Anybody who shows pride in the shirt gets my vote.Great attitude but if goes i am sure we will have a good replacement.

He's improved a lot since his first season. I now trust him at full back. He wouldn't be the same player if you ironed out the mental aspects of his game.
All artists are willing to suffer for their art. So few are willing to learn to draw.

Who remembers that classic moment (I think it was) against Oldham, where he ran to catch a bomb, fell over, did a roll over and the ball somehow ended up on his back. He didn't have a clue where the ball was and he went to stand up still with the ball on his back. The ball rolled off his back and he was looking all around to try and find it. It all happened in the space of about 2 seconds, but whilst everyone else was holding their head in their hands, I was in stitches laughing - it could have only happened to Doddy.
