I was in the Jockey on Good Friday and there was loads of Widnes fans before the game having a pint. Nice little boozer that and not far from Parklife where I reside. No room to spin a cat mind but decent. The lock-ins are legendary though.

This is history. This is history. Right here. Right now. This is history.

I thought it was Widnes?
All games are winnable, whats hard to understand about that.

Wakefield turn over a big club every season and i see no reason why Widnes can't do the same.
This would be the ultimate Widnes pub if it was ran by us lot. We could chain littlerich and starbug in the cellar and only let them out when they finally swore allegiance to our cause.

Be like a scene from ' SAW ' , who could knaw there own leg off first to get to the computer

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Always enjoyed our visits to the Albion, always good banter and the food was decent enough. Cheap booze helped as well. Hope it's restored to former glories sooner rather than later (though I was surprised with how much Leggies has improved when I went in before the Gateshead game).

Leggies has perked up but it does attract the one tooth townies with a 1995 shirt on and they always ask is Richie Eyres still playing.
