Great result for Widnes.

i agree be surprised if we even make play offs, we are massive underdogs but i suppose now all the pressure on widnes.

The pressure is not on Widnes at all. Halifax will still win the league and need to make the Grand Final. Widnes started the season terribly and I think many of us had written it off. Winning the NRC was superb and anything else is just a bonus, certainly beating Fax 42-16 wasn't expected a couple of months ago.

I now think we could win the Championship whereas before I didn't. I wouldn't put us as favourites but I'd agree with Vikingman that I'd fancy our chances in the final but getting there depends on where we finish. If we finish 4th or 5th it'll be very difficult to get there.

All we need to do is make the final and we have the perfect first season. Getting our application qualification out of the way and limiting another team from doing so.

I hope that is in the back of the lads mind in the play offs. Not to mention, of course, the idea of getting to a final and winning it because we're in a decent position to do so.

You just make sure you do to Barra what you did to us. OK?
