i thin before the game people may have been thinking that we were the 2 front runners for a franchise at the minute and whoever won that game would be in the box seat with toulouse.

now i think we are trying to come to terms with the fact that we now have to go and win the playoffs which is going to be blooming difficult to do with teams like yourselves and barrow able to beat us if we are even slightly off our game.

I accept most of that, but your opinions have been in a small minority on your board. Most Fax fans have just taken the worst kind of one eyed veiw imaginable, and I'm not just talking about the usual minority of the thick trolls, that we all have. Even some of, what I once thought were your reasonable fans, have taken a very hard line anti Ref and anti Widnes view, that is totally out of proportion to simply be combating a few of our known moronic trolls gloating after the game. Some of your fans are even blaming our loan players now.

Comparing penalty counts can be miss-leading. There can be many reasons for their discrepancy. If they were all even, or close to even, I'd be very suspicious of that too. It is possible that they could be a fair refection of the game. We put Halifax under a lot of pressure and you made a lot of handling errors as a result. This can cause frustration and a bit of panic can set in. Any team on the back foot will naturally give away more penalties than the other side. Believe me, I've seen it at Widnes this season. Our discipline has been excellent lately though and it has been one of the major problems that Cullen has said he'll put right. And he has.

Halifax are still the best team in this league, and we still have a mountain to climb to catch you up. But on Sunday we were the best team on that pitch. Not by a great deal, but by enough to win the game without the aid of Laughton, whom I thought we both had to over-come. We won despite him and not because of him.

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”

There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back!

Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!

i agree you were the better team through large propotions of the game apart from maybe a 15 or 20 minute spell in the second half during our comeback.

i think tha game just needs to be got over now to be honest it has finished and i admit that up until yesterday i was a bit frustrated about losing the match but that is to be expected with it being a semifinal.

there has been a lot of tension on here since that match. some of your fans have been gloating, some of our fans have been taking a view that if this had of happened or that had been different.

its thursday nearly this game was 4 days ago i feel it is time to forget about it and both clubs and there fans to look forward to the remainder of the season and maybe another match in the playoffs which we are both pretty much in at this stage.

and maybe another meeting in hopefully the final to us cause as goos as you are playing i cant see you catching either us or barrow before the seasons end and i would hate to have to play you in an elimination semi on sky when both clubs will be extremely up for it.

good luck in th final i really mean that i hope you beat barrow even though you beat us. See you down at the shay in the playoffs again maybe.
