I’ve completed it. I fully expect IMG to be suitably impressed and offer me a lucrative consultancy position (spoiler alert , the Dobbins won’t make the cut).
I quite liked the idea of the challenge cup being at a different venue each year, but strongly disagreed with them going to two leagues of ten...the idea of regional teams copying the hundred was an interesting one, definitely a way to get casual fans / families into the game, but won't go down too well with the traditionalists
Some very interesting ideas and I urge everyone takes part.
Personally I went for a 14 team, no loop game league with promotion and relegation with growing scepticism on French teams (due to lack of a TV deal) and im not interested in 7s/9s or made up teams playing another cup.
But we all like our RL in a slightly different flavour. I bet most tick that the Ref's are one of the worst things about the game though!

I can see licensing coming back in for 2024 It will also give teams like Toulouse time to get established in S/L without the up/down problem. Seems to me like the owners have have a heads up on this hence the new stand and ground improvements at Wakefield who i dont think would have been given a license had they not been able to make the improvements. Having Wakefield.Castleford and Featherstone within a few miles of each other if i was a Castleford fan i would be worried about getting a license and can see several west riding mergers happening as a result of IMG coming in

Why we have in goal referees ill never know.Waste of personnel. For me the touch judges miss too much and dont give the referees enough help so instead of in goal touch judges move to a game where we have four touch judges each having only half the pitch to control and give them more authority than they currently have to make decisions. Been able to keep up with play on both sides of the pitch and having three eyes on the play should really help especially with forward passes and i would go even further by changing the referee at half time for the senior touch judge.May be controversial but control of the game needs to be looked at.

Scrutinising the videos mid week to find the most minor infringements is getting increasingly off putting, no other sport sits spotting errors like that, they wrap the round up and move on. Video review should only come into play if a team challenges a Red card received during the game.

Pretty similar to what I went for. 14 league team, without p&r. I'd like a return to franchises, with a view to expanding the game.
I think a 9s comp similar to the magic weekend could work if done correctly

I can stomach franchises if there is a serious consequence for not performing on the field. I have bad memories of the end of the Hetherington/Rule era where they would brag about getting another A licence while we sat 2nd bottom and there was no incentive to spend money and improve.
If promotion and relegation stays they should axe the Chamoionship playoffs and let the winner go up and the reward would be the earlier you lift the title the more time you have to prepare. Leigh are quite clearly the best team and shouldn't have to face the lottery of a oneoff game, nor does this game particularly break box office records anyway.
