I know everyone wants signings etc. But this is absolutely fantastic news for the club and it's future. Well done to Clarky, AP, HCC and the University for making it happen
Having everyone in the club all under 1 roof is going to be such a step forward in integrating younger players into the 1st team and make us more appealing when trying to recruit players to our scholarship system.
The access to Hull Uni facilities and staff can’t be underestimated either, the fact students who are studying sports rehab will also be available to assist with massages etc will help with recovery.

Fantastic news and evidence of our ability and genuine intent to deliver on the homegrown agenda Not so long ago when Rovers were planning a base at the uni it was trailed as having the best facilities available to any SL club so great news for us.

Its been a heck of a long time in the coming but I remember this development being muted by Clarky around 4 years ago so well done to the club. Getting out of the space we rent from the Allams on County Road is a great move in itself. I'm told the actual first team indoor base will be twice as big as that at County Road and the facilities will be as good if not better than any in the league. The partnership with the Universities sports science wing will be invaluable too. It's also good to see all those who criticised the council for helping Rovers to their ground purchase note that the council said at the time that they were helping us and now we see that they are match funding the project. Massive step forward not just for the clubs playing side of things but also for our longevity as a club as we have consolidated permanent training base for years to come.
