WIth Rovers having positive Covid tests, and their game against Saints being called off has just been announced on BBC, will the Derby match be under threat of being postponed too?
Quote:Three Hull KR players have tested positive for Covid-19 over the weekend, following two positive tests last week - and nine others have been forced to isolate as close contacts. Training has been postponed until Wednesday under the Multiple Cases Protocols, with a further round of PCR testing to be carried out then. Hull KR players who had been selected for the Combined Nations All Stars team have been stood down as part of the isolation procedures. Under the RFL’s Covid-19 protocols, a team can apply to postpone a match if seven or more senior players are unavailable as a result of Covid-19 – either through positive tests or as close contacts – and the RFL have therefore accepted Hull KR’s request to postpone Friday’s fixture.
The bit in bold could mean more callups for us, or maybe Saints will offer their whole squad ?
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

As long as Rovers dont get anymore cases they should be able to play the derby match, Think the 4/5 who have tested positive wont be able to play, but those isolating will.

Chance to test of their elite academy.
Just wonder if the players concerned re covid are any of the ones selected for the mixed nations squad or am I just being cynical?
Hopefully any of their players testing positive for Covid will made a full and speedy recovery.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

We play on the Thursday, so would have been a 3 day turnaround. We already have a short turnaround 2 weeks after that, playing Leeds on the Friday and Saints on the Monday

Unfortunately we are a point where we need to get fans in games and teams and players will have to cope with the demands for the good of the game
