Not one, not two, but three captains named for 2021 - Danny Houghton, Scott Taylor and Marc Sneyd. Whilst unusual, I can see the sense in this if Houghton isn't a regular starter and Taylor is unlikely to do 80 minutes.

I think it’s a good idea. Also may have something to do with the rule change re nominated players and lateral position of scrums.
