So the government says 25% capacity on 17th May at the earliest so how will that work for us. The costs would be too great no offers by the Allams to open up all areas for FC. In addition how many season ticket holders have we got, I believe more than we are allowed so how is it going to work?

So we should be allowed about 6000 fans then

Let's hope none of our passholders want to attend, otherwise we'll probably lose (more) money.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Yeah, probably not far off our number of passholders? Although could see some challenges around cost if we needed to open the North Stand for example.

I guess "capacity" would also include opening the upper tier of the West stand as well as the North stand.

It’s an interesting point on cost opening more of the stadium, will the cost be that much more? The number of stewards wouldn’t increase significantly due to the relatively low number of fans per area, also I imagine the drink/food would remain closed.
But it’s a positive bit of news none the less.

No, it's only 4000, we are not classed as one of the 'largest' stadiums so the 25%/4000 rule applies, whichever is less, either way it's total nonsense.
Testing, temperature checks and all the other nonsense will no doubt be enforced despite it not being lawful, and it's May 17th at the very EARLIEST, the data even when it's clear is manipulated and fudged by government so they can do what they like and spread more lies/disinformation. Don't be surprised if this date is extended.

Come June covid certification (to supposedly reduce restrictions) is likely to be brought about which MIGHT lift some capacity restrictions, however certification and exclusion on basis of some form of bio status is already unlawful and remains so as per the European Council's decree to reconfirm that just recently.
Worse, no removal of muzzle wearing 'rules' :despite the evidence that muzzles don't do squat CRAZY:

RL clubs are basically stuffed even if they get a few punters through the door for half the season and the World Cup is going to lose a lot of money unless something drastic happens between now and then. I wouldn't be surprised if we are back to full on tiers/lockdown on the back of tests that can't detect infection used to produce huge number of 'cases' that are being falsely labelled as infections and from that falsely attributed deaths with covid like all of last year.

Good luck to the clubs, I hope that those fans that get in really get served up some excellent rugby to lift them and that our team do the business results wise.

According to the information released that I've read any outdoor stadium with a seated capacity of more than 16000 is classed as large

"Oliver Dowden, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, confirmed that large venues can have 10,000 or a 25% capacity, whichever was lowest.
A large venue is defined as having a seated capacity of over 16,000 spectators, Dowden confirmed.
"

So in theory as the KCOM is 24000 capacity so Seb is correct in that we potentially can have up to 6000 attend games under the rules which is large stadiums up to 10000 or 25% of their capacity whichever is the smallest.

“Lose more money” as in Covid deaths? The point about all this is that most of us will have had the jab by then. I received my first last night :) plus masks and social distancing will ensure it will be safe, apart from the bloke near me who goes to toilet 8 times a game 8)

There's the actual cost and then there's the price the Allams charge us. Given the price of opening the North stand has been prohibitive I can imagine opening the full stadium with some ticketing/turnstile changes etc (eg is East Stand pass valid for West if we need to spread out?) could be an issue.
