Looking for advice on best way to access the NRL - I want it live on a TV not just on a mobile device.
Lat seasons early coverage of 6 games per week on Sky was great BUT absolutely no wrap around coverage like 'The Footy Show' or half time etc etc, which I now want. Dropping the 3 games per week once SL kicked off just really highlighted the gulf in difference between the games. I have now cancelled Sky - I will be at FC games ( if allowed ) or in a pub, have no interest in watching Pies, Leigh etc - unless playing us.
Watch NRL seems to be the best option at £25 per month BUT gets really poor reviews. I am sure there are many NRL geeks out there fully enjoying this superb product, welcome suggestions ?
i find watch nrl great value, far better than sky, superior rugby too.im really looking foreward to new season and it will be good to watch the game with crowds attending.

Been using watch NRL for a few seasons, never had any real problems. streams are reliable on the PC, plenty of content with every game shown live or you can watch later. studio presentation is very good with plenty of big names. can't comment on the other programes on there such as the magazine shows, as i'm only there for the games. also there is no contract you can simply pay monthly and just end if you don't like it.

Different gravy to our stuff and pretty good value when you can't even get a couple of pints a week for it down your local, back in the far flung days when pubs were open. At least if the boozers stay shut then I won't have to make the difficult decision of missing the second half live, of the late Saturday morning game to get down for opening time. Every cloud has a silver lining, and all that business.

Reckon you are safe until May on the boozer front. The NRL is far better than SL, on the pitch and coverage.
Thanks for replies, doesn't look like it has an app. you can download direct to Smart TV ?
So I presume optimum viewing will be on a laptop with HDMI into TV ?
The NRL is an absolutely fantastic spectacle, far more competitive than SL & the skill level WAY higher. 6 games a week really eased first lockdown, might have stuck with SKY but haven't seen any indications of their coverage this season. Found it really frustrating for coverage to end almost on the final whistle - and some times actually before !!
Stay safe, hopefully we will be back at the KC in 'Spring' - no doubt in limited numbers initially.

Not been a bad thing. Hardly bothered since the first lockdown in March and not a home drinker. A good effort from somebody who was in the pub if he wasn't at work. It's like a brand new world out there.
